Another waste of the peoples money

As seen on one of the many MRT stations. they even have this inside the coaches. What the f*ck are these for?! We are nowhere near a good economy, much less a country. how do i know this?

during one of my weekends of playing my sport, while crossing the street to purchase water and some crisps, i noticed a man beside a cart laying on the ground with his hand cluthing his head. He didn't appear to be injured externally so i approached him. To make sure he wasn't dead i said "manong okay lang po kayo?", he then looked at me and looked a bit alarmed (i was wearing a fatigue then) and he tried to quickly get up and tell me what was wrong with him.

the manong told me he suffered the week before and his head has been suffereing every since. i asked him about going to pgh and he said all the hospital could do for him was operate on the main problem and that was it. they have him no meds...nothing.

He said he needed to work so his family could eat and so that maybe he can buy some meds. I asked him to go to the Makati Hospital but they said that he couldn't afford the P3,000 they were charging him for things. Seeing i couldn't do anything for him medically. i then told him to wait for me. i went inside the store and bought him some water...perhpas it would relieve him some to get some water since he didn't appear to have any.

after i gave him the water i sat down with him and spoke with him for a few minutes. i then remembered some of my friends who belonged to some foundation may be able to help him. So i went back inside the place i came from and asked for their help after explaining the situation. They agreed. when we out to wait for the ambulance the old man was gone.

my only thoughts that time was that "Where the f*ck was the government for him?" they expect people like him and me to vote for their sorry asses during election and then disappear with the money...the use luxury cars, gas guzzling SUVs and get so many body guards and schedule so many unnecessary out of the country trips using OUR MONEY!

you see so many people with out water, electricity, a home...even a good road system. No basic needs...then you see f*cking Gloria act all mighty and righteous saying she has done all she can and is doing all and comes out with posters like this?!

The Philippines is not a country...it's a trap!

China does it again! Sentences 2 women, one 78 the other 79 to a labor camp

The two women, both in their late 70s, have never spoken out against China’s authoritarian government. Both walk with the help of a cane, and Ms. Wang is blind in one eye. Their grievance, receiving insufficient compensation when their homes were seized for redevelopment, is perhaps the most common complaint among Chinese displaced during the country’s long streak of fast economic growth.
But the Beijing police still sentenced the two women to an extrajudicial term of “re-education through labor” this week for applying to hold a legal protest in a designated area in Beijing, where officials promised that Chinese could hold demonstrations during the Olympic Games.
“Can you imagine two old ladies in their 70s being re-educated through labor?” asked Li Xuehui, Ms. Wu’s son, who said the police told the two women that their sentence might remain in suspension if they stayed at home and stopped asking for permission to protest.
“I feel very sad and angry because we’re only asking for the basic right of living and it’s been six years, but nobody will do anything to help,” Mr. Li said.

at the CCP

the Beijing Olympics

  • well, it seems to be in full swing. Seeing that the date is so near and so many people have invested so much into the games, it seems unfair to put a stop to it. But all things considered, people should not forget that China may view the Olympics differently from the rest of the world. It is possible that we view it as just the games in its old spirit and all that jazz...but to them, it could be a validation, that entire world is okay with what they are doing to Tibet and the other people they consider enemies of the state.
  • Be the change you want to see in the world.
  • Don't swept up with what the trend is, who is popular and and whether or not this person has been good in the past. Look at the facts, consider the state of affairs now and then judge. The Olympics must never be used like this again.

these 2 things seem to go hand in hand, in love, in deicisions with work, what we buy and other stuff. For me it's regreting for not working hard enough to be able to see these people perform for one last time. there are people i still wish to see and can, but some of the greats are gone.

Lucianno Pavarotti
Marcel Marceau

my dog HEY

all this time we thought she was pregnant with another doggie's sperm...for a couple of months her tummy got bigger and bigger; that was, until a few days ago. We noticed that she was getting more inactive than usual and her tummy was too big to be pregnant.

We had her looked at and the stoooopid idiotic VET said she was okay and it would be a few weeks before she gave birth. Well, suffice it to say we are changing VETS coz that idiot obviously didn't even thoroughly eaxmine my dog.

Hey, that's one of her countless names....let's see, Gunther at 1st, the Pulot, then Pupu. But she seemed to respond to Hey more than any other name. She would always know what time i would arrive and be so happy when i got there, my brother really owns the dog but i was the one that really gave it love. i discovered she was surprisingly smart, does not bark at my friends, knows where to go everytime a strangers delivering something came in and never complained or whined.

i'll miss you HEY.

OW! my aching back!

my weekend started like any other weekend. plopping on the bed after my duty hours were over. i was so poopped that i didn't even get a chance to do my usual routine of cleaning up just befire hitting the sack....the last thing i remember was my body surrendering to the soft and cushy goodness of my matress and my pillows....aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh.....

a few hours later i woke up refreshed. i noticed that my right leg was dangling from the edge of the bed. i must've been that tired that i didn't even adjust the position when i dove into the bed.

As i got up, i felt great and peachy....that is, until i stood up....

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!

.........stabbing pain from my lower back........

CRAAAAAAAAAAAP!!!!

i was immobile the entire weekend....sigh. it's been 5 days since that crappy day. i'm getting better but still unable to walk properly from the muscle strain i experienced. I'll go see the doctor soon....I'll get to it eventually...

at least i can walk now
